David Garner OBE FRSC (born 1939) is a British chemist. He is president of the Royal Society of Chemistry.[1]
He earned a BSc and PhD from the University of Birmingham. He taught at University of Southampton from 1967 to 1980. He was Wolfson Professor of Natural Philosophy, at The Royal Institution, becoming Deputy Director from 1987 to 1989. He taught at Imperial College London.[2] He is professor emeritus at University of Nottingham.[3]
